Bristo Plastics / Century Industries Ltd: Bristolite

The firm was located in Carrington Road, Box Hill, Victoria, and owned by Bristo Plastic industries from 1945-1949. Operations were taken over by Century Industries Limited from 1949-1955. Before being taken over there were ongoing allegations of fraudulent business practices, with the company named in a parliamentary inquiry into company fraud. Shareholders had lost money which had somehow made its way into directors pockets.
