Dalson was originally located in Shower St, Preston, Victoria from 1946. The company started as a partnership trading as Dalson Products, then from 1950 as Dalson Products Ltd, and later as Daldon products Pty Ltd ( Dalsonware),  manufactured, imported and exported home products. It was accquired out of receivership by NCI Packaging in 1961.
