L & I Glenn Pty Ltd/ Glensunite Plastics: Glensunite

Named after Lionel and Ivy Glenn, L & I Glenn Plastics was located at 463 Auburn Rd, Hawthorn East, Victoria. It became Glensuite Plastics in Moorabbin, Victoria from around 1945. In July 1959 ACI acquired 51% equity in the company, and then the remainder during 1961, thus making ACI a major force in blow moulding in Australia. (Source: PhD Thesis by John Sidney Marsden, ANU, 1973. P. 84) The firm was wound up in 1985.

This gravy boat with built-in drip tray May be from this firm, although it is marked LG Plastics Melb rather than L & I Glenn or Glensunite.
